INFO
I figured I better give a little info here...... I made this in NUENDO3, and used very little slices and loops. I prefer programming my own drum tracks. Any responses will be greatly appreciated, and I will try and do the same. - April 24, 2007
wardrum
epic tune man! i was waiting for some intense taiko drums or something to come in and round off the middle bit tho... enjoyed it! Luka - April 24, 2007THANX, I WANTED TO KEEP THE DRUMS SOMEWHAT TAME ON THIS ONE, NOT THE USUAL KAOS
- May 12, 2007Love the big drum in the intro and how it meshes with the low bass. The higher (echoey) bass doesn't quite jump out as much as it could - EQ could be notched some so that it cuts through the mix with a little more edge and filteriness. Same goes for the destroyer synth at 5:45 -- doesn't cut through like it sounds like it wants to. I like the 16th echo drums in at 4:20 -- kept hoping they'd come back. They were cool! Generally, I love what you're doing here -- using all sorts of epic big grungy d'n'b sounds, but keeping a leash on it so it doesn't explode; containing that energy. Would be a really fun piece to mix at a party, letting it mix into some other track that does the exploding.
- May 13, 2007Thank you Canton, I appreciate the input- especially about the destroyer...
- January 31, 2009You can make one hell of an intro. This sounds like it should've been in metal gear solid.
