I'm new to world of beats and loops.

Right now I'm working on some material and I need loops like what you hear on Dido's "here with me" or "Thank you"......You know, that kind of groovy laid back almost industrial feel you would find behind every second rock/pop-tune in the ninetees.

What do you call these beats/feel in terms of looping? Funky R'n'R?....groovy pop..it's certainly not country (I think?).....can't find my way around......PH!
