|

Once you download the zip file that gets sent to you how are you supposed to import the file into any program like cakewalk or cubase when the file is an AIFF file? Do you have to convert the file some how?
I just want to be able to import this loop into cakewalk.
Any thoughts? |

On a PC, I use CoolEdit 2000 or GoldWave to open the AIFF, then I save it as a .WAV. _________________ hear|download my music from http://SoundClick.com/DeathlessDodecagon |

With a very big delay... The best free way to convert any audio format to .wav is using Nullsoft Disk Writer plugin in WinAmp. Ctrl+P on WinAmp will show you the prefereces window. Go to Plug-Ins > Output and select Nullsoft Disk Writer (if you don't have this plug-in, maybe you skipped it during the WinAmp installation). Then hit the "configure" button below and setup the output directory, the wav sample rate etc... Now when you play a track with WinAmp, a .wav file will be created in the output directory instead of sound playback. When you finish with converting, be sure to go back to Nullsoft Directsound Output (or Nullsoft Crossfading Output) plugin so you can be able to listen to music with WinAmp again. _________________ Due to circumstances beyond your control, you are master of your fate and captain of your soul... |

if you have itunes on your pc or mac you can convert any sound file to any extension
try this;
1) right click on the file you want convert
2) click convert to mp3 (if you want a different file type do as follows...EDIT>PREFERENCES>GENERAL>IMPORT SETTINGS> THEN SELECT THE FILE TYPE, BIT DEPTH ETC.
3)not sure but for multiple files i think if you highlight them all in itunes you can convert them all.
hope that was helpful afterall this was my first post on here but not my last ;) |
