hey,

I'm making (trying to) music on my home computer with Ableton 6.03 and cuebase sx3, but i'm planning to buy a laptop exclusivly for producing and recording my own dj sets...
I don't know enything from computers or laptops!!
Can anyone give me some tips where to look out for or maybe recommend a type of laptop...
Remember: it's my hobby-- i don't really need a proffesional "super-the-luxe" laptop, only one that's good for some producing at home...
It would be really helpful.... Thanks

i would strongly reccomend a mac,

you don't need the best, per say,
even an entry level mac book would be ideal

Definetly get a Mac, for quality and stability.
Get the best you can afford with the most RAM.
You may only want an entry level laptop now but if you really get into music production you can soon get frustrated by not having enough processing power to run plugins, soft synths etc.
