Hey everyone, just to add to the contest madness, I wanted to mention that I work with a software synth company called KeyToSound, and we're doing a contest beginning April 1st to the 30th with http://www.trackbattle.org. The overall gist of it is this: download Remedy, the free synth from http://www.keytosound.com, then make an entire song (maximum length 3 minutes, any genre is acceptable) using only Remedy - this includes drums - and upload your .mp3 somewhere where you can post a link to it in the Trackbattle Remedy Contest forums. At the end of April, KeyToSound and Trackbattle will pick the top ten submitted tracks, and then Trackbattle users will vote on the best overall track, with the winner receiving a full boxed version of KeyToSound's Nexsyn Soft-synth! I also run tech support for K2S, so if you have any issues, don't be afraid to drop me a line.
