This is a FABULOUS place!! I love samples!!! But instead of looping in my audio recording program, I want to be able to play them on my midi controller. How would I turn that sample into a VST(i) or at least what synth app could I import the sample into to play it?

So what you want to do is convert audio to midi?
The only programme that I know can do this is Melodyne Studio and then the result will only work with selected DAWs. It will work in Logic, but not in Garageband . Don't know about other apps. _________________ http://www.sampleswap.org/artist/jimdubtrix
Well, I got the Kontakt Player 3 (which can be used as standalone or a VSTi plugin) and it is doing EXACTLY what I wanted. I bring in a sample from here and I noticed it has to have some substance. Once I have selected the sample, I can play it and tweak it within the software. Then, I went into my sequencer...I use Powertracks 12 Pro...and bring up Kontakt as a VSTi instrument and..VOILA...I can play and record the sample as midi or audio on my midi controller!!! This is JUST AMAZING!!!
