| hi the song isnt that bad, its way to loud (easy on the mastering suite maximiser) and the vocals arnt in time with the tune try reslicing. or time stretching in cubase to fit ur tempo then export wav back into nx-t sampler in reason and bobs ur uncle |

It's not too loud , compare it to pro stuff , and some stuff are even louder that this...
I'm glad that the maximizer exists...
And Fruity 7 has a maximizer now in multiband compressor , yay!
Hey , about the song... don't know if you used loops or not , but it sounds pretty good ... 2/3 pro maybe ...but it does need some work , to keep the attention of the listener , some more sounds in the beginning , changes in the ruthm...don't let it be like the famous house music '98 ...the beginning is 1 minute of the same ol' boring loop...
But this ain't borin, it's D'nB , it's faster so it's more energetic ,but still...
But remember , there will always be people that like the song just the way it is, so don't listen to me :)
And as for the comments, you ain't gonna get any more...there are 1000s of people here that come just to download samples , they don't look at the forums...i mean they do , but they don't like the stuff they here in most cases probably...
Joevirus is the most active one as far as i can see... |

| well, at least i got 2 replies...thanks for listening & taking notes...yeah, i sure am lazy when it comes to drum programming...i don't really care, though, because i was kind of modeling this track on the more recent "full cycle crew sound" (so to speak); real basic, not too much crazy stuff...straight-up drum n bass. yeah, i know the vox isn't perfect, i just threw them in there for shits & giggles pretty much....i think i've made 100 tracks with jay z's acapella black album! Just a couple of samples were used, ie a drum track for layering & a flute sample - i love that bassline - made it with the SubTractor (nice little synth!). Peace! |

it is 2 loud try droping it 2db and u will
have a better sound to the ear.
I live in bristol the home of full cycle
and i now many names in the industry
who have told me mastering teqs and u cant
just pump the whole mix through a maxi/limiter
you need to eq your sounds better 1st and u will
find they sound louder and cleaner. then maxi um and see
the differnce u wont have to bost um 12db to get the same effect
only trying to help (tune is cool tho) il post some new tunes soon
working on some new stuff at the moe |
