Greetings everyone....

How do you make a sample song from windows media player work with FL studio. Everytime I put the file in the FL slicer the file cant be player, the song looks like its just one bar or not even a bar.

How do you convert the file into a wav or mp3??? Do I need I special type of program to do that???

Download Audacity and load the .wma into that, Audacity has a free mp3 encoder\decoder built into it and best of all, its free!

I downloaded the audacity...I dont know what I'm doing..when I put windows media player files in the audacity it just sound like a sharp strick

Well i just check and wma files arent compatible with Audacity! lol Sorry for misleading you, could it be that the .wma file is protected? If so just record it with sound recorder, its built into windows and that how i work with protected audio! Go to (Win XP) start - All programs - Accesories - Entertainment - Sound recorder. Just play the song i WiMP and hit record on sound recorder, that way you can save it as a .wav file and edit it in any program you like!
