Whenever I hear a snare-ish sound like that, it was always referred to in sample kits as a "clap" and not a "snare". I would suggest searching for some clap sounds, and then adjusting the pitch of one you like until it gives you that crisp sound you're probably looking for. I hope this made sense and helps you out.

Yeah the answer about the claps is right but I think I hear a dry snare sample layered under the claps in the mis layering samples to create a sound is also a great idea.
