Windows FTP Instructions
The easiest way to FTP files is by using the INTERNET EXPLORER web browser. Click here for
a window that makes this really easy. (Firefox and others don't do FTP
upload, unfortunately.)
Alternative: I believe many people still use WS-FTP for
their FTP needs. WS-FTP works a whole lot like Transmit, so once you've
installed it, you can pretty much follow the Mac instructions to the
right.

Macintosh FTP Instructions
- OS X users: Don't bother trying to use OS X's built-in FTP client
("Go:Connect
to Server..." from the Finder.") It doesn't allow you to
upload files to our anonymous FTP server, for some reason.
- Instead, download "transmit", this super great FTP client
from the folks at panic.com This
works for OS 9 as well as OS
X. You can use transmit for free, and
even after the trial period expires, most of its functionality remains.
- Launch Transmit.
Where it says Server: type:
ftp.sampleswap.org
You can leave User Name and Password blank.
Where it says Initial Path: type:
incoming
- Once you're connected, you can drag sound files from the left hand
of the screen (your computer) to the right-hand of the screen (our
computer)
- Thanks for the noize!
